CES is one of those events that I’ve always thought of attending and this year’ own did well to cover ITS a lot.

Vehicle to Grid (V2G) is a system or technology that is incorporated with to production of electric vehicles. The V2G plays a role in establishing communication and power sent between vehicle and power grid which provides electrical energy to the electrical vehicles. Moreover, the government and electricity market regulators take part in the V2G system. The book “Vehicle to Grid: a sociotechnical Transition Beyond Electric Mobility by Noel, L., Zarazua De Reuben, G., Kester, J. and Sovacool, B.” provides an in-depth understanding to the complexity associated with this emerging technology: V2G.
V2G being a technology that has the power to transform the energy sector and also help us to mitigate climate change by allowing our energy system to balance more and move to renewable energy, it is very important and essential in today’s world due to the global warming effect caused by CO2 release to the atmosphere from vehicles.
The book reviewed in this section have the ability to open the mind of policymakers, researchers, and the public on the importance and potential of V2G, The challenges it will have to overcome such as technical, economic, business, regulatory challenges, etc, and lastly shared more light on prospective of the consumer resistance and social values it will have to overcome, as a very good endnote.
